Finally - I am all caught up with our blog posts for 2008 weddings! We ended our year with a great couple, Matt & Lara, with a beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding at Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, NJ. The boys relaxed with a shave at “Shaves” in Wall, NJ while Lara and the girls glammed it up at home in Freehold, NJ. This was possibly the most laid-back couple yet, with a few major differences in wedding themes. They had an “Un”-bridal party - everyone involved got to wear what ever they wanted and never once complained about taking picutres!!! We were banned from the aisles of church, so we perched ourselves up in the balcony for artsy ceremony photos - loved it! College pride took over: the bride attended Michigan State and the groom is Fighting Irish from Notre Dame. But in the end, New Year’s came and a great time was had by all. Congratulations Matt and Lara!!!

We had a great time with Dana and Smitty in November 2008 at Branches. This beautiful venue lended itself wonderfully for pictures inside since it was cold and dark outside. Dayna and Smitty had a great time with the pictures, too. My beautiful bride (yes, my bride!) was relaxed and calm the entire day which made it so easy to photograph her.

So, I have to be honest when I say I am a slacker sometimes. But, proudly, I can say I am almost at the end of the 2008 wedding blogs. Lori and Kevin had a very hot, but beautiful day on Sept. 14, 2008 at Mercer Oaks Country Club. Kevin and the guys enjoyed some golf beforehand and Lori spent time with her daughter and her best friend.
The butterflies were released to represent Lori’s dad. Those butterflies refused to leave us for most of the day - wow! And the LOVIN drink at the bar - very tasty!!! Good thing I don’t drink on the job! Take a look…

Deb and Rich had a little drama, dealing with the hotel. We had a few minutes to kill, I suggested a pillow fight in their room to ease tempers before the ceremony. “It worked”!! I like when our couples take me up on my silly ideas.
Deb and Rich played a goof on their guests, hiring little people to stand in for them during their intro. Some guests could not contain themselves, others were like ‘what the…???’.

Michael and Brieanne tied the Knot at St. Ann’s church in Keansburg, NJ. Their reception was held at St. Clement’s in Matawan, NJ. Their love and spirit was a joy to be around, we thank them for having us to do our very best for them.

Oh my where do I start? We just have to say you are both amazing! Well, we realized that the day we first met you. We cannot even begin to describe how impressive the photos are. I didn’t think you could “wow” me because I already knew the photos would be awesome but these pictures are beyond anything I have ever imagined!!!! I can’t believe the angles and shots you guys got without us even knowing. I can’t tell you how many pictures we said “wow! when did they get that!” You have absolutely outdone yourselves!! I have to tell you to that I loved how you guys blended in the reception like our guests while still being so professional..it’s like you were both born to do this!
